The Community Nature Center offers 1.5 miles of trails that lead to a pond, rock formations, play area, and a scenic overlook. With diverse terrain, from gentle inclines to our gradual ADA-compliant main trail, there’s a path for everyone to enjoy. Along the way, visitors can discover informational signs highlighting native flora, adding some local knowledge to each hike!

Our play area is designed especially for our youngest adventurers, offering endless opportunities to build, create, and imagine. Children can explore with natural elements, encouraging hands-on learning and creative play. This kids only zone inspires curiosity and connection with the outdoors through nature-based activities tailored just for them. The play area is frequently updated with new materials, so be sure to stop by!


Explore towering granite boulders, check out our short-grass prairie, and reach a 360° viewpoint with sweeping views of Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte, Sierra Prieta, and the Bradshaw Mountains. The nearby pond is an active restoration site, where local conservationists work to revive native habitats, provide wildlife with water access, and reintroduce the endangered Gila Topminnow.
